Lock the team in a film room and force them to watch last years episode of violent projectile diarrhea (aka Ol Miss game 2013). That should get them motivated and all but guarantee a tiger victory!!!!!

Ole Miss's defense is very good. If we can run the football, we can win the game. Their offense isn't that great

We need to outscore them by the end of the fourth quarter.

Ole Miss is the best run defense in the SEC. We are going to have to really wear them down.

It's tough because
We run well (trending up), Piss defends the run very well.
Our passing is mediocre, Piss passing def is decent.
Piss running is mediocre, our rush def had been mediocre (but trending up).
Piss passing good, our pass def is excellent.

Assuming all trends and tendencies hold, the game will be won or lost by the defense and on the ground, although a breakout passing performance by either team would be a huge factor, but less likely.

Close win by the Tigers.

1. We have to figure out a way to run the ball. I don't care how that is...if it's lining up in jumbo and pounding it, or if it's spreading the field...we have to be able to run it to have a chance here.

2. Stop the run. We WANT Bo to throw. He's an interception machine.

Ole Miss is coming into this game prepared to shut down our run and make us beat them with the pass. If we cant establish the run early, our passing game is going to have to make some plays. AJ needs to hit a few early and get some confidence. Defense needs to get early pressure on Wallace. Special teams has been playing well. Pumped up crowd, Sat night in Death Valley, should be a great game.

We need to execute some short passes early on. We know for sure that the rebbears are going to load the box & dare us to throw. The only way to establish the run will be to back them off the LOS. Since we don't want to waste possessions with the high-risk downfield passes, we need to dink & dunk a bit early and let Jennings get comfortable.

Have we pressured anyone yet?

2. Jennings needs to throw effectively

First they need to let him throw. But if they do, I'm not sure if he'll be effective.

They need to call plays for Jennings to get some confidence. Roll out and dump it to the back, quick slants, easy passes. Don't wait until it's 3rd and 7.

Have AJ throw 3 passes to the TE all in the 1st quarter. It'll blow their freaking minds!

Keys to LSU victory:

Offense: effectively run the ball.

Defense: our DE's HAVE to be disciplined and make Wallace hand the ball off to the RB.

Special Teams: no mistakes.

Lastly get some turnovers.

Defense has to make stops and get off the field on 3rd down in between the 20's (3rd and Chavis), make them kick field goals.

Offense must sustain drives and execute on 3rd down, not get into long down and distance situations (1st down plays must go for 5+ yards).

We HAVE to pass the ball, The QB must play smarter and know when to hand off/keep it on that stupid run option play that I hate so much.

Defense has to get 2 turnovers. We do all of this and we win by 3 in an ugly hard fought game that's low scoring.
