It is pretty corny. I'm sure we can come up with a better way to get the players fired up.

Pretending to hold them back is corny though.

My thing with it was that, ironically, Les never seemed to bring the team out at the right moment. The pregame/hype video would just be starting and out of nowhere BAM here they come, instead of letting things hit their peak and coming out after the stadium is in a frenzy.

While we're talking timing and moments, I always wondered when this Brandon Taylor (That is him, right?) vid was taken.

I always assumed before the game and it was probably just the secondary, but then I saw that white guy in the back right. Definitely haven't had a white defensive back since like Steltz. At least that I can remember.

Would be pretty tight if it was taken sometime mid-game.

Oregon was the first time if i remember correctly.

This I believe. He always has done it but that's when this "version" come about. He use to face towards the field and hold a couple of them with his arms out

I think it started with Oregon as others have said, and I think it was actually genuine in that game. Like they were so ready to get on the field because they knew that season was gonna be special.

After that it just became a thing. Hasn't really had the same effect the last few years.

O seems more like the type to come out arm in arm with the players.

This
As much as he has talked about pulling the rope together.
One heartbeat

I can see him doing this Saturday.

After that... Who knows
