So why are you so quick to dismiss Moore as an outfielder?

Because he is a corner infielder and has never played an inning of outfield in his LSU career that I'm aware of.

If I'm not mistaken Rhymes had not played outfield before last year correct?

No, that is not correct. And what does it have to do with anything anyway?

how many times a game does Laird run one down and save us from giving up runs

This is where I originally said he chased a ball down in RF in the game yesterday that Moore would not have caught. That would have been an extar base hit for sure.

Because if Rhymes can convert to OF why can't a better athlete in Moore do it?

Didn't Laird also run one down in the corner against ULL? I also do not think Laird makes the two plays that Stevenson made in center that were mentioned earlier.

Where are you getting that Moore is a better athlete?

Absolutely. And you could argue all day that Moore would not have made a difference at the plate yesterday. However, I think we both agree that one game is a pretty small sample size.

Rhymes moved to the OF three years ago and you're talking about throwing Moore out there in the post season. Certainly you can see the difference.

This is just an observation. Rhymes looks pretty slow out there and on the bases.

And to MOT I agree, but I think this is a change that needed to be made when we realized Stevenson would not come around at the plate.
