Pre 2000, LSU was just another SEC school. But there was potential. Why? Because 10 of the top 100 blue chip athletes come from the state of Louisiana. That's why Nick Saban called his agent and told him to contact someone at LSU to tell them he was interested. Nobody knew who the hell he was. People were going nuts because we hired a guy that Jerry DiNardo destroyed in the damn Weed Eater Bowl. LSU WAS a sleeping giant. Not anymore. Saban helped put a fence up around Louisiana. The talent that this state produces is ridiculous. Les Miles had it made when he took the job. The recruiting was already established by the time he got here. Everybody wanted to be at LSU.

LSU can do better than what we have currently. Everybody wants to talk about Miles record. shite, half the games we came back and won we should have been ahead in to start with. Fact of the matter is, a good coach needs to come in here and right the ship before other programs start plucking the best in state talent again and sends us back to the 90's.

We are already losing out of state recruits because of the inept offense. It's just a matter of time before we start losing in state players too.
