my wife was screaming time out immediately around 28 seconds..
i'll repeat, my 27 year old wife who was taught the game by me for the last 7 years knew to call a fricking time out there!
i for one am done defending our coach.. hope the best for lsu always but we keep losing games we shouldn't and it is more frustrating then it was in the 90's for me at least

I couldn't agree more. Every time I defend Les Miles he pulls a game like this

Les Miles and Skip Holtz are the only 2 I can think of.

The difference is the senile Holtz wanted to call a timeout but his teeth fell out, but at least he thought of it. Miles was too busy trying to decide whether to make something with or eat his play-doh when he got home

Bad clock management isn't exclusive to miles, it's sometimes hard to fathom why these guys lose their heads at the end of games. In the Oakland-San Diego game a couple weeks ago, sd was down 10 with 2 minutes and change left, with all 3 time outs. Instead of kicking the fg on the long side of the 2 minute warning and using your 3 timeouts to get the ball back with around 1:40, sd wasted enough time and time outs, forcing them into a low percentage onside kick.

Do we know for sure that we actually had a timeout? Or are we just going with espn's graphic so that we can bitch about Miles?

Tards need something simple to rant against.

Don't worry about the lack of talent on defense and a bad game by the QB, let's focus on a meaningless point.

Rabble rabble rabble.

frick yes we had a timeout left.. the idiot used it with 6 seconds left which was also pretty fricking stupid not letting ole miss burn theirs so we could at least ice the kicker at that point

Why did ole miss call a timeout after that 2nd down?

20%

Timeout blunders aren't isolated to Les.
