He’s just saying as best he could that he pitched from the back of the pen to make sure we got into a regional. He’s still working for us over there and wanting to feel appreciated. Thank you, Wes.

His team pitched today exactly how the LSU staff last year looked, minus Skenes, until Jay took over the pitching decisions.

My problem with Wes is that Yeskie has gotten Little and a few other pitchers to turn it around. Not saying he's a bad coach. There's a difference between college and pro players.

yeah ole Wes comes across as a prick throughout that entire press conference. Not even a coach speak "tip your hate to LSU, they played a good game today" comment. Had to say your team beat themselves when they get 6 hits and allow 14. LSU also left 13 runners on base. It could have been much worse. It was a clean game defensively. There were no weird bounces. They just got soundly beat. It happens

Guys team got smoked 9-1 ( score could have been much much worse as LSU had a ton more base runners in scoring position throughout the game) and doesn't give LSU or Jay one shred of credit.
