After watching his press conference I am confident he'll can House. He's said he's doing what's best for LSU when it come to coaches and players even if it hurts feelings. He fired one the guys that was in wedding after 3 games at ND.

After hearing that it makes me think he is more inclined to keep house because he would have fired him by now because he fired someone in his wedding

That's my thought process as well. In my opinion it seems to me he has no issue firing the person that is the problem. Maybe he knows that Matt House isn't the issue, he knows what's going on behind closed doors more than anyone here. I don't feel confident but I'll trust him until he proves me worng.

It's a different era with recruiting & the transfer portal. BK wants to hold on to these players and is the only reason Matt House is out recruiting and still has a job. Matt House knows he is gone and will leave with a lot of money.

Ha! Maybe. His statement could just as easily be read as; if firing the DC would have been the answer, we would have already done it. I mean, a coach who was in his wedding fired mid season.

Here is where I think we are at. House was solid last year and took a step back this year when the talent dropped off.
CBK probably has some feelers out there with some good DC's and is waiting to see if he can land any of them. If he can, then I think House is gone... if he cant, then House comes back for year three but with different staff personnel and maybe some that House wants.
Either way, I think CBK knows it's a shite show and that is a good start.
