That really sucks!

I heard a story from a former player about this same sort of thing. They were on the road at Ole Miss and played a game with 9-10 position players...due to some bad Bloomin' Onion sauce at Outback.

This was back in the early-mid 90's.

I don't know why I remember this, but I do. LSU started pitcher Brian Daughtery in left field that Sunday if I'm not mistaken. Didn't have enough position players to field a full lineup.

Sounds about right. It was definitely a trip to remember for the whole team...
