High 77 low 53

NW winds at 15-25mph!

Pretty big weather change from today a high of 92.

That means the wind will be blowing almost directly out towards center field.

Correct, the field is oriented with center field towards the SE.

I guess this is why they can't move the fences in at TD Ameritrade.

Sure, you'll have years where there's only 3-4 homers the entire tournament. However, when you get a year like this where the prevailing wind is blowing out for two straight weeks, you're gonna see a shite ton of homers. If the fences were moved in 10-15 feet, it would look like guerrilla ball.

Florida State would have hit 2-3 more homers last night if the fences were moved in.

Has that big of a move been debated? I would think 5-8 feet would be a fair distance.

Yep, a big change from Rosenblatt which had home plate facing towards the north east.

A strong NW wind in Rosenblatt would knock down any fly ball headed towards the left field fence.
