I love going into October at 4-0. No need to post how you have to prepare and play hard every game, blah blah. Washington was 0-12 last year are we are freaking LSU!!

LSU isn't going to have a clue where they're at until they go into Athens. They will roll over the cupcakes on there schedule, not having a good impression of what they need to improve on and do better to compete in the big conference games. They won't be tested until the Georgia game, and that isn't necessarily a good thing.

No doubt, we'll know a lot more about our football team after this day. Vandy could be a decent test at home (hopefully not more than 2 quarters though) but going to Athens is the real deal regardless of who they lost.

We have 4 real games this year prior to our SEC championship game. Those 4 games will determine the season. The rest are bs games for the Tigers!

It's just like last year. We started off 4-0 and got up to #3, but we hadn't played anybody yet. Then we started playing people and found out we were shite.

We'll be 4-0 this year too. Hopefully with a different ending.

I think Vandy will be a good test. I think we will still win easily but a good tune up for UGA.

Don't worry. I think we'll dominate those 4 games also. LSU 12-0

would you like to wager on that? Perhaps, we could make a deal for your car, if you are too young to drive, maybe your bicycle or scooter.

I'll be glad to bet my scooter. LSU will kick everyone's arse. The whole nation has Tiger envy.

Vandy is a pretty good team, went and won their bowl game and beat Ole Miss, Auburn, Kentucky and South Carolina last year.
They have most of their starters back.

It's true we collapsed last season after a 4-0 start, but that was apparent to anyone who was watching the first game. I knew Perilloux(sp?) getting kicked off was a costly but necessary decision in order for the team to move on. After watching the season opener I knew immediately the defense and especially the secondary was full of holes. After watching Alabama's season opener I thought to myself- damn, they look like us last year. I still think losing Perilloux was the right decision and makes Miles a stronger, more honorable coach. What it didn't do was inspire the team and the cookie crumbled slowly. But all those doubts disappeared during the Chik-Fil-A bowl. It's a different team now. There are still work areas but the confidence is back. Jordan Jefferson will inspire the team along with Scott,Shepard, Dickson, and others who now know what they are capable of and remember what a strong, bullheaded, never-say-die Tiger team feels like again. Give us four supposedly easy games to gain stride and confidence and improve on your weaknesses? You betcha. I'm saying 11-1 this year. I think we going to Roar. And I love Coach Miles. Proud of him and his geeky slap-mouth style. Under-rated coach and man.

4-0 means LSU will go into October with the big heads like last year.
