Mett put up some gaudy numbers from the start which got everyone excited but you could tell from the start our front 7 was as weak as it has been in 10 years.

Our signature win this year is over Auburn who will be a 2-3 loss team.

This team is average, and at times Chavis doesnt know how to plug all of the leaks on defense.

I hope we can compete and pull an upset @ BDS but its hard to imagine.

I wanna bump a thread I posted early in the season about our "cream puff" fools gold wins against teams like TCU and how we may be overrated...a post where I received 22 downvotes...but I think I've been vindicated.

What's TCU's record again?

We are. Just look at our opening game against a subpar TCU team. We didn't look that good.

We don't have two good wins on our schedule and will struggle to finish the year with another.

Our PPG early in the year had me fooled into thinking we could keep that offensive output up.

overrated? who actually expected us to do really, really, really well this season? honestly. everybody on here figured we'd be a 2-3 loss team this year. so far we are completely on point with what posters on TD thought.

overrated?...give me a break.

da frick? Ohio State, Clemson, aTm, and Louisville were ahead of us before this weekend (coaches poll). Are you suggesting that we weren't worthy of #8 ranking?

I predicted 9-3 this year, but the offense we showed against cupcakes gave me false hope.

At one point I thought we had a chance to run the table.

All those teams you named aside from Louisville would be favored over LSU.

Neutral field? I disagree. All 4 of those teams also have no defense. But this is another argument

Nah. The way the defense played since game 1 showed me the offense would have to play damn near perfect every week to win and we see what happens when they don't. And for the record I said 8-4 9-3 at best for this year. Didn't have high expectations.

For one brief moment during the Georgia game I did think maybe just maybe if chavis could get this defense going we might have something special nobody saw this year with the way the offense was playing. But of course within a matter of minutes and a few 3rd and chavis' those dreams were extinguished real quick.
