We should consider playing UF on 11/19, if we can Move aTm to 11/26.

The only way this game would matter is if we win out until that point. But, it gives the team hope and incentive to fight on right now, if we know now that it was scheduled.

I agree now because we have no other option.

Not playing it only guarantees us sitting at home the first weekend in December.

Everybody needs to wait until the games are done through Oct. 22.

At that point, LSU will know whether they need to play that game to help win the West or not. If Bama and A&M have lost a game each over the next three Saturdays while the Tigers have beaten Ole Miss, LSU has no incentive to play Florida.

Of course. And that would be magical.

Alleva: "The SEC office should have thought about that before they let Florida's athletic department manipulate a natural disaster to help their football program. We have a game against South Alabama on November 19, and we are going to play it as scheduled. It's our home game so it's our call. That's apparently how it works. Fini."

Nope. Let UF figure out how to pay two schools their pay and then maybe it'll happen.

In other words, it's not happening.

But that's the real comic value of this whole deal.

Florida was going to lose to LSU this weekend. They are a 50/50 proposition to beat UGA, and highly unlikely to leave Arkansas with a win because they really aren't all that good.

I've got guests coming in that week from AUSTRALIA. All they've heard from me for 5 years is how awesome LSU football and tailgating is. This trip has been planned a fricking year. Their time in BR will be the last week of a 3 week vacation to the US, but they have been looking forward to the tailgate for a long time.

Heads are gonna roll if the Tigers capitulate and play at UF on 11/19.

And then the refs would frick us over repeatedly the remainder of the season.
