Aside from random posters guessing that Quartermann will play 2 because he's tall doesn't make it true. Just sounds like randoms not believing a tall guy could play 1. I like his versatility but he was recruited as a PG.
The thing is, he plays like a wing on the film that's available online. He uses ball screens, but he's looking for his shot.

There are plenty of people who watched him, noted his ball skills, and still thought of him as a wing.
I like him as a versatile 1, but watching his highlights and reading his evaluations, there seem to be a lot of people who see him as a lanky wing with good enough ball skills to be able to play the one, as opposed to a true point guard.
So I understand why some posters on here look at him on film and see an SG. Some good basketball people sort of thought the same thing and they could be right when it's all said and done.
One major evaluator who saw him as a PG from the get-go was Reggie Rankin of ESPN. First evaluation I saw from Rankin of Quarterman, he talked about him as a PG.
