We haven't won a meaningful bowl since 2007

Think about that people. As many great players have been through this program since then, to not win a top tier bowl during those 8 years is downright atrocious. If you wonder why all of this is happening, that alone should be your answer.

Not sure what's been going on with bowl prep in recent years, Miles teams were known for being well prepared, we've come out and looked pedestrian in those games.

And we haven't won that many bowls in general. Miles has a 3-4 record in bowls over the last seven years.

Define "meaningful". I'd argue the Cotton Bowl 2010 qualifies. Unless you only define BCS bowls as meaningful, which I wouldn't necessarily disagree with.

It's unrealistic to expect to be in the ship every year, but to not even win one BCS game during that time is a rather large indictment on Les

This is basically the environment that has been created in college football, once you're out of the championship hunt, it's tough to get motivated.

Cotton Bowl was meaningful for the 2010 season. once it moved to jerry world it got major publicity and became a playoff bowl shortly after.

we've won 2 bowl games in 6 years.. and our last win was vs Iowa 21-14 and not very enjoyable.

No...lower level bowl games don't do that.
Your idol hasn't had a great run in bowl games either. Lost at least 3 where they were double digit favorites.
