If Troy can beat us, then why would we not think we have a chance against Alabama? Anything can happen if the ball bounces our way and the defense plays lights out.

LSU isn’t beating bama. Save yourselves the disappointment by just accepting it.

Thanks for that insight, its new and refreshing to hate on your own team.
So if someone from Arky said the had no chance against Bama, he would be a bad fan?
Bama has a great OL. Our DL has struggled big.
Bama has a great DL, our OL has and still is struggling in protection.
Other than our PK, our special teams are very weak. That doesn't bode well for a game where field position is a must win for LSU to have a chance.
Our WRs are just ok and our qb has trouble throwing accurately over 20 yrs. Gage looks out for some time.
That makes Bama an overwhelming home favorite, and there's really no realistic other way to call it.

I have to be honest. After Troy I didn’t think this team would get many more wins. And yet, here they are, bowl eligible and on a three game win streak.
Shows you what being honest gets you before they play the games. Just sit back and see what happens.

If everyone followed your line of thinking, and outwardly express their feelings that we have no shot, how would you think that would make the team feel? Knowing they have absolutely nobody that believes in them. Nobody encouraging them to fight harder.
You’re a bad fan for shaming others for believing and supporting their team.

Wow this fan base is full of male cheer squad and band members. I'm glad out athletes are not also sniveling cowards, who don't give themselves a chance to beat Bama. No team ever created is unbeatable. None.
These skirt wearing "men" probably also guaranteed that Troy couldn't beat LSU in Tiger stadium on a Saturday night. They have already raised the white flag and put down their weapons before the fight even begins. That is what male cheer squad and band members do. Athletes who play the game are more apt to believe Bama players are mortal just like them and can bleed just like them. They think more like our brave Green Berets and Seal Teams who believe in victory even when they are vastly outnumbered and facing what's seems insurmountable odds. Which would you want in a foxhole with you?
I believe LSU is capable of beating any team it plays, even Bama. Canada was brought here to turn the Tide offensively. Last year no one gave Pitt a chance against the unbeatable national championship winning Clemson either in the Tiger stadium. Who, by the way beat a better Bama team.

You realize the players hate people like you right? They’ve made comments to the media about it this season.
I’m not drinking “koolaid” going into Bama. I know the situation. But what’s the damn point of getting excited all summer about football season if you just lay over once the season starts?
I’m going into the game with an optimistic frame of mind. We CAN win. I’m not saying we WILL, but having a shot is enough to get me excited for the game. Isn’t that why we follow sports in the first place?

My point simply was to hold it together cause it will be 3 weeks until we win again...finishing 9 and 3 or 8 and 4 is a great for this team....

When is the last time an unranked LSU team went on the road and beat the #1 ranked team in the country?
