You mean the style when you try to pull everything and don't make the pitcher work?

Yeah that's a bad style.

We win if we don't play retardo defense.

STFU. We're the best team in the country and had an off night. It's not like this is the 1997 team and is hitting HR's left and right anyway. We'll be fine

I think the op means that we don't play small ball and this park is better suited for it.

I tend to agree

it has nothing to do with the ballpark... when Nola pitches great and the batters can't hit, especially in the clutch, you can't bunt runners over, make 2 costly errors, you LOSE... that has nothing to do with the ballpark! it has everything to do with mentally being unprepared offensively

Ibarra would've had two HRs in a smaller park, so the argument for tonight's game has some validity.

To say we can't win in this park is an over-reaction, but in a smaller park, we probably would've won tonight.

Stop blaming the ballpark and start blaming the hitting coach!

In a smaller park that pitcher's probably not throwing high cheese that we could bomb out of the yard 3 or 4 times.

Our approach sucked. Their pitcher made us look silly swinging out of our shoes.

How the frick did this ballpark make us commit 2 errors that cost us the game?

Lack of offense was more costly than the 2 errors

Rymes and errors lost this game.

+1

UCLA was the smarter, more fundamentally sound club tonight. Hershheiser brought it up several times. they played "to the ballpark."

WTF? If we make 2 routine plays and we win 1-0.
