To some clown with a face mask who’s on his 6th season… food poison seems to be the best bet.

I mean of course it isn't an even comparison but he would still have the record.

This would be a disgrace if some kid from some no name school who played in like 50 or so more games breaks the record

Can’t worry about this stuff. There are so many variables that make The Pistols Historic in comparison.

fricking Covid again ruining shite.

For comparison Pete averaged 44 PPG this kid is averaging 25 PPG but may pass the pistol. Goddamn insanity has taken over our society.

This would be one of the biggest disgraces in the history of sports

All they had to do was lose their game earlier today

Try double that and got a free Covid year. I’m interested in his pts per game average. It’s like 25.

I respect the Davis kid’s accomplishments, and he clearly is a fantastic college basketball player.

Comparing his accomplishments to Pete’s, however, does a disservice to everyone. It’s apples to kangaroos, and it diminishes both of them.

Compared to the average person, sure. Compared to really good NCAA basketball players, there's a reason he is a fifth-year player in a mediocre conference.

Kid could be at a better competition level but wanted to play for his dad

He had offers to transfer to power 5 teams (Md, Gtown, Kansas St, BYU). He’s very good. He’s just not anywhere close to Maravich.

Chocolate eclairs left out overnight at room temp might do the trick

This story has only served to resurrect Pete’s story, accomplishments, and legacy. Several national talking heads have already pointed out how the kid’s “breaking” the record would pale in Comparison to the Pistol.

We at least gave Press another year or 2 after Pete left.

Before we try that we could just show up for the games with horns and reflective mirrors to throw him off.
