We as a fan base are pissed, and rightfully so.

We have a man. Les Miles. He gave us a taste of the good life in 2011, but only now do the positive thinkers see that our defensive coordinators have won the games for us, with the exception of 2013. And Mett was coached by Richt.

You could see it begin with the 2011 Georgia game. We could NOT move the ball until Tyrann flattened their mojo. So what did Saban do ? Kept it away from Tyrann, and beat us.

If not for a miracle defensive stand by Eric Reid, we lose both.

Chavis carried Miles the whole year. In 2012 we could BARELY move against an Auburn team who would go on to have a losing season. Thank the defense for holding.

It was a miracle we held off Wisconsin the first time. Thank the fricking defense.

2014 posted the best SEC defense that year, and thanks to them, we took Bama to overtime because of Chavis.

Poor Aranda is now working overtime to cover Miles sorry arse philosophy. Only this time its caught up to him. We had hype for a reason. On paper, we are a playoff team. These juniors who stayed...no, turned down paychecks to win a fricking championship at LSU, have just been smacked in the face basically. And the defense? They may as well have been the offense.

Leonard had zero help from the sorry arse line, or from a poorly coached Harris. His Junior year will consist of him carrying us against all odds. The chance of him staying was abysmal in the first place, but right now he has to be fighting with his own selfless personality to sit out.

He got banged up for what? A sorry arse loss to an average Wisconsin team.

But you know, we are average too.

The damage is done now. Not just to our reputation, but to our team structure.

2017 may be the worst yet.

Throw an enourmous paycheck at a fricking new guy on the block and take a couple harsh seasons if it means making LSU football enjoyable again.

Tired of being the only SEC school with a 1900's offense. We are set back 5 years because of this shite.

Pray to your various gods that a decent at best coach even CONSIDERS us as a destination after our AD had his little 180 turn on the Fisher contract.

If im Aranda, im getting the frick outta dodge. What a trainwreck.

Love you LSU football, but you need a makeover.

If we get a good coach, 2017 won't be a disaster. Just hope for Jimbo or Herman.

Holy shite, more unique and thoughtful comments that there hasn't been one thread about. Things will work themselves out eventually and life will go on. I promise you'll enjoy football again. You're not saying anything you couldn't have in four other threads.

When everyone is saying it, there's a problem.

No, there are some that like watching this sh*tshow we call an offense hold us back from having an elite team because they remember what 4-7 felt like and are scared of making a change because nobody besides Les Miles can reel in top 5 recruiting classes in a talent rich state like Louisiana and hey, 9 wins ain't so bad.
