LSU did the same thing the second half of the 2Q that they did in the 3Q at UGA. They got a big lead then quit moving the ball offense and started scoring whether they were open or not.

Angel and Hailey both forced some crazy stuff in the 1st. Probably too pumped for senior night. Also the bench is even shorter today.

Sitting in the bench with a boot, not cool.
But the coaching staff told the broadcast crew they thought she looked like she was limping a bit last game so they want to give her a good 10 day rest from last game until we play again in the SECT.

Ajae Petty transferred after Kim’s first season. Glad she molded herself into a good post player but of course she’s part of a program going nowhere. Be nice to have her in light of Smith’s injury.

Yeah the talent that Nikki left has actually gone on to have good careers. The seniors immediately turned the program around, Petty is an all-conf level player, Dominique Davis averages 20 ppg at Southern Miss, Tiara Young is averaging 17 at SMU. Shows how flawed her offensive philosophy/development was.

Our guards just don’t know how to time the pass to the post player at all.

It generally happens when we get up 15 or more. We have a team full of scorers and when we get the big lead we quit passing, or we look to score as soon as we catch the ball, and if we see the defense has us cut off we then look to pass but by that time the defense has reacted and we turn the ball over by forcing a pass into traffic.

Ladies have sort of slept walked through this one. Get a big lead, go through a 4 minute drought, extend the lead, have another drought.
I’m thinking the girls are focused on the big prize which is just a couple of weeks away. The calendar has hit March!
