With Ole Miss beating MSU a win tomorrow night very likely means we will be #2 seed. I think very good chance we win out. But, with a win we are 9-3 with games left where we will be double digit favorites home Auburn and UK and away at UGA.

At Tennessee will as always be tough but even a loss there we have tie breaker on Ole Miss if they win out and UT will almost certinlay lose at least their 5th game at SC March 3.

Perhaps more important is do not see NCAA selection committee putting #2 SEC team at any lower than a 3 seed.

Where we finish in the SEC, if its not 1st, means not too much for NCAA seeding. Losing that game at Auburn is a killer to our seeding. We are a #3/#4 seed now. We need to win at Tennessee to solidify that #3 seed for the NCAA.

I think we'll beat A&M close, and whip UGA and UK. It's the @Tennessee game that is most important for our NCAA seeding.

It would also help to win the first two SEC Ty games although I am not sure CKM puts much emphasis on the SEC Ty.

I respectfully disagree about NCAA and seeding but agree KMM does not care much about conference tournaments, although she does hate to lose.

Also not sure how first NCAA reveal had us 14th- a middle 4 when our NET is 9.

We haven’t received much respect nationally. In the AP poll we have only moved up exactly 1 week this entire season. Started the season at #1, lost go Colorado then fell to #7. We stayed in that spot every week until we lost Auburn, and we fell to #10. Then after two weeks we finally moved up one spot in the poll to #9 where we sat until we lost to Miss State and fell to #13. Where we currently sit while teams like Va Tech jump us from behind in weeks that we win both games.

Exactly. I think this is mainly because there's a lot of hate out there for Mulkey. The coaches' poll has us 11th, ahead of VaTech and Oregon State. There's NO WAY we shouldn't have moved up after beating Vandy AND Alabama, but we stayed the same while VaTech leaped us.

PART of our problem is our OOC schedule. It would have helped if we would have played a couple more legit teams, IMO. If we finish the regular season at 26-4, we will be fine in NCAA seeding provided we do not get upset in the first 2 rounds of the SEC Ty.

The NCAA Selection Committee does not hate Kim Mulkey. I will agree that there are several podcasters and some media that dislike Kim. But there are also some media and podcasters who like/respect KM. And several of our players are wildly popular.

Unfortunately until our team gets back to consistent ncaa tourneys some of our best players may look to move on
That’s the reality especially if other teams offer up nil

So, today the new AP poll came out and LSU has stayed in the SAME SPOT, even though they won they one game they played this week, AND they've won three straight games.

VaTech is now #8, having moved up 4 spots, while we haven't moved in two weeks. ESPN does have us at #10 in their power rankings though...........

I think in LSUs case this year considering they are a 14 seed at this time (borderline host), they realistically need to win out and win a couple games in the SECT to keep their host spot and maximize their seeding.

I think if the win out for the regular season they will end up as the 3 seed in Iowa’s bracket of Iowa stays as a 1 seed.

However, Iowa will likely end up as a 2 seed by the time the regular season ends.

Facts....The WBB team blew out 3 straight opponents and actually loss some votes while teams rated higher loss to unranked teams and hadn't dropped much. VaTech during the last couple of weeks moved in front of us even though we beat them by 20. The hate is real.

It is laughable that UConn is a 3 seed and we are a 4.
