Angel, Kim, and flaujae interviewed after the game:

Not one damn question about angels injury and her status for tomorrow

Hell- she limped to her seat

I know we wouldn’t have been given any real answer, but how can no reporter not even ask the question?

Because based on the big picture of the season, it’s the wrong question.

How do you not ask about the player of the year

LSU wins nothing if Angel has a broken ankle, which I’m not saying she does, but the risk was very real.

There were 5-6 other posters asking the why are the starters still in long before the injury. It wasn’t some fluke happening that no one could have predicted. LSUFreek had a running tally of how many times each player had been knocked to the floor. Bodies where hitting the floor from the opening tip till the final buzzer.

Ok my friend. I’m not trying to be obstinate. I’m really not. The subject of another intense post reads “Mulkey has been playing with fire all season”

Exactly. Of course she has. She determined early on that the only route to a title this season was to do exactly that. To be successful she was going to have to live on the edge. All year long. The margin of winning a title is razor thin this season. You look at it as dangerous and insane. She sees it as an acceptable risk. The dynamics and chemistry of this team demand it. She may not win it all…but this is the best path. It’s been a helluva ride so far.

Then why was Mikaylah William sitting out today as a precaution? That's not living on a "razor's edge".

She’s sat out girls here and there. Reese included. But there’s an overall dynamic and pace that makes this team go. Without it they’ll tank. Pedal to the metal. It’s this years over arching strategy.

Guess how many points the entire bench scored in the 4th qtr? Grand total: 0. The bench players turned the ball over, couldn't execute, and didn't score any points. They really haven't looked good during SEC play, against tougher competition.

To say the Tigers dominated is a gross understatement! 69-31 Tigers after three quarters- a laugher, if not for Angel's injury
