How much different these 2 guys are, both superstar HS/College players. Both seem to look like once in a lifetime type players, but they couldnt be anymore different on and off the field. Buga such a humble, great human being with every gift God could give one guy on the field, Speed, Agility, POWER, and vision.

Reggie, Speed and Agility on the field, but a person that was/is all about himself, not much of a people person.

Give me Buga all day long, he would smash through that USC team!!!

I still wish we would have played that 03 USC team, even if unsanctioned, that LSU team was monsters. Screw ESPN for acting like USC was the only team that year in this film, didnt even give us any type of nod... i know i know, ESPN hates LSU...

Why do you think LSU has Fournette and they had Bush?

Yea I thought it was kinda cheating history not mentioning LSU and 03 since it plays a pretty integral part in the story with the fact that USC really only won one NC

Because Fournette is from New Orleans and Bush is from San Diego.

For sure, just seeing all of those long Bush runs and how arrogant he is made me think about Buga and how much more I appreciate everything about Buga on and off the field. But im with you, that 03 LSU team would have beaten USC in New Orleans in that Sugar Bowl, not a single doubt has ever crossed my mind...

You people will never get over your obsession with USC.

Also, I'm not going to say USC would have killed LSU. But let's not act that '03 campaign was unstoppable. USC would have given LSU a solid fight that season. Oklahoma had no business playing in that title game.

The only reason not to like Bush back then was his overexposure. He was amazing in college.

Never said USC wouldnt have gave them a game, I just said there has never been a doubt in my mind, LSU would have beaten USC in New Orleans. If you dont believe that then you dont know football. That defense we had was unreal.

USC would've been tough for LSU. I don't know who would've won but I'm fine how it worked out. LSU has the crystal, and USC's AP title is an afterthought.

It's strange how much LSU fans hate USC. Did y'all expect USC to refuse the AP trophy? USC has had no bearing on LSU whatsoever and is now a dumpster fire. If there was ever a war, LSU won.

Im not moaning and groaning about what Bush said as an 18 or 19 year old, Im just appreciating what a great man we have right now. Its just a comparison bro. Dont read further into it then what it is.

It really is pathetic how easy some LSU fans get bent out of shape by USC. Remember the numerous "FUSC" bump stickers? It's just bizarre.

We did happen to lose to a true freshman QB in Baton Rouge that season, so I wouldn't say it's such a guarantee. Would have been a close game, just like OU was.

USC was damn good too, and let's not act like LSUs offense was unstoppable. A shitty Zook Florida team beat them at home, and ole miss, OK, and Georgia were tough low scoring games. USCs defense was as good as any of those.
