Watching UF/FSU and USCw/Clemson

These nighttime rivalry games really make me miss the series with Tulane. Games prior to the mid/late 1980's were competitive and Tulane was always a threat to pull the upset. This wasn't like the teams like A&M or Alabama that are supposed to be our rivals. Tulane fans lived among us and the winner had bragging rights for a year. The games were electric because pride was on the line.

You can't manufacture a rivalry. We'll never have another in-state rival like Tulane.
