If I still lived in BR I'd prefer going to the games and make an all day event out of it.
yeah when I lived in ATL I went to 1 home game. But LSU wasn't on TV much back then either. I just don't think it's that expensive, unless you have a big family and have to travel far. But it's expensive because you are footing the bill for your small clan. On an individual basis, it's not.

This is my problem with today's generation.
NEVER ever want to get up and do anything! And always complain!!
I am 50 years old......I have been going to games since I was 6 almost completely nonstop.
I countdown the days until kickoff so I can get back into the stadium again. I dont care the cost or the time or the piped in music,etc.
And at the end of the last game.....I look around and hope and pray I make it back again next season.

Lately It's a toss up......
TV viewing got much better with mega screens, HD and projectors while GameDay experiences lately have become a hassle. Especially for out of towners. Day games have
replaced night games. LSU football at night is always much better.

I've gone to LSU games for over 50 years. I've seen it change drastically. Most of my friends have stopped going.
One day I won't be able to go, but until then it just means too much to me. I still feel connected to my dad through LSU football and he died in 1966! When I have to stop going, I'll enjoy it on tv. And yes, it's hot, uncomfortable, costly, takes time (I drive 4 hours each way), bathrooms are beyond horrid but hell, nothing worth doing is easy. Don't like it, then don't go. Others will take your place. But the memories are great and the anticipation even better.
I'll see you there!

As much as I love going to games at Tiger Stadium. Its hard to beat the house. There is no traffic. No lines for the bathroom or for food. And Im not spending $10 for a bottle of water.

Thank god people like you have decided to stay away and us real fans can continue to enjoy attending the games as often as possible so that we can support the team and university we love in both financial and fan participation ways.

Like some others, I enjoyed it in my younger years. Being over 60, it is just as not easy and yes, I miss the experience, even though it has changed over the years and not always for the better. However, being able to enjoy the game in an air-conditioned den (helps since I have asthma), have food that I want at more reasonable prices, and not worry about parking and restrooms is the way to go for me now. I still try to come to a game every couple of years, but otherwise, it's the den. I would advise folks to enjoy in-stadium experience while you can. There will be a day that you will have to give it up.

Watching a game on TV is more convenient. Watching a game in Tiger Stadium is an experience. Apples and oranges.

I have had season tix for over 25 years. I still love tailgating and the games. My main complaint is the # of, and length of, TV timeouts. Like someone else stated, they take the flow (and often times the crowd) out of the game.

I mostly agree with you. With the advent of big screens and high definition broadcasts it's mighty comfortable and convenient to view the games from the best seat in the house with any beverage or food item I desire. I can even pause the game and skip the commercials if I want.
If I didn't have a parking pass next to the stadium, excellent seats with beloved family members and several close-by tailgates to visit I would be selling my season tickets every year.
