Watching the 1997 LSU vs UF game makes me miss the classic sportscasters;

Yeah, Karsten put himself in a terrible situation and then couldn't deal with it. Felt bad for the guy, even if the whole saga was his fault.

I loved Franklin, liked Gottfried, but didn't care much for Karsten.

Did Gottfried have a mild stroke or something, because his words were occasionally slurred. Assumed it was stroke, but never heard anything about that.

He didn't pay his taxes and was on his way to jail.
