Compare the 2

Bryce 5’10” 200lbs 4.52 forty time

Jayden 6’4” 210lbs 4.50 forty time

Last night I was getting murdered how JD5 would get killed in the NFL and how he just won’t make it in the League. I don’t get. Please someone dumb it down for me as to why Bryce was so valuable yet JD5 is not

There is no way on Gods green earth that Bryce Young and JD are running that closely. How are those 40 times possible?

Patrick Mahomes was picked #10 & Trubisky was picked #2.

NFL teams miss all the time. Jayden could end up being a much better pro than Caleb Williams even if Williams is #1

Do you think size, weight, and 40 time is the only thing that goes into drafting a quarterback?

Just googled it. I think JD5 is faster as well though. But explain why JD5 isn’t a better QB than Bryce?

Also got lots of replies stating he would get killed (injured I’m sure they meant) and he’s not tough enough. Look I know he needs to bulk up, but his mobility is off the charts and he has a great arm.

Hey I’m a HUGE Joe Burrow guy. No doubt I would take him over anyone (maybe not Mahomes) but look he had season ending injuries in 2 of his 4 years. Football is a vicious dangerous game (just go watch the Florida State QB’s foot from last night) and people get hurt. But cmon man this kid is as tough as they come (see LSU vs Mizzou game) and I think someone wil get a gamer. Curious to see how high (or low) he goes in the draft.

PS. Bryce looks like dawg sheet right now and yes I know Carolina’s O-line sucks balls

certainly not. However. I frankly have no idea how Bryce young was considered number one material just based on his season. He had flashes but nothing about his performance screamed consistent NFL guy

Your post is all over the place. I’m still not sure what you are asking/trying to say.

I’d bet JD is more in the 4.3 - 4.4 range. He torches everyone on long runs.

He threw for like 4,900 yards and 47 TD his sophomore year.

Just wondering why everyone told me last night that JD5 would get mauled in the League and how he’s not NFL material, his games better suited for college.

I think he’s gonna make some Coach/GM/Organization extremely happy. How do you feel he will do next level

I dont think Bryce is a 4.5 guy. I also think JD5 is faster then 4.5.
He pulls away and maked seconday players angles.look terrible. That aspect of his rushing reminds me of Cam and RG3.
But on the passing front Bryce was accurate at Bama but he had great WRs and great line.

JD5 is tough and van learn to slide more because he will.see how fast LB and safetys are. But he has made a huge leap in his pre and post snap reads.

Jalen Hurts was something like the 56th selection in the draft.

Now he has the second highest contract and has been to a Super Bowl. Also benefits from a pretty good team.

Who is “everyone”? Quarterbacks run a lot more in college than they do in the NFL, that’s just a fact. NFL defenses are much faster, stronger, more complicated. I have no clue how he will do in the NFL, I hope he is fantastic. It’s really hard to predict exactly how good quarterbacks will be though.

That’s probably because the draft takes place in April and all they have to go in is college performance, work outs and projection.
