Umpire should be investigated. NO WAY ANY Umpire could call that a strike with a strait face and it changed the game at a crucial moment.

PM should have been out of the dugout.

Tossed or not he needed to show the players that he was paying attention and was keeping the umps honest.

Pawls too nice to get tossed.

Have a coach accuse your player of cheating and have a nice calm conversation with him, patting him on the back.

Ump makes a shitty call, cry about it from the top step.

He should have been more pissed at himself honestly for taking off the bunt after the passed ball.

Dude it's baseball. Umpires make questionable calls all the time and shitty calls every now and then. But let's just accuse him of fixing a game.

Umps make bad calls all the time. But we've seen two all time bad ones the last two weeks with the strike 3 last night and the one last Sunday where Doops, I think, was called out at 1st for a double play when he was past the bag.

It was an all time bad call, but I don't think there's anything to complain about when you can't score at least one run.

Sometimes coaches have to take one for the team to show their players not only that he has their back, but that the game is worth fighting for.

I really think CPM is lazy.

they're getting those strikes again today... i'm not enjoying all this patting on the back for giving up one run when it looks like you have a chance to go 0 for the weekend...

This is how CPM should have looked after that pitch

He's not lazy, he's just so narcissistic that he thinks him getting tossed would hurt the team's chances to win. I mean, without him, who would mismanage the bullpen and decide not to bunt runners over?

He could just leave with standing instructions to hit and run every other batter when there is a man on 1B.

But didn't he swing at ball four right before that?

So that means the umps are out to get LSU? You're better than this. All time bad call? Fine. All I'm saying is it's not a fix or cheating. Don't confuse incompetence with intent.

Baseball should embrace technology and just implement a digital strike zone that's the same for every pitcher, every batter in every game at every level. No need for umpires to do a job that could be done to perfection without them.

If he wouldn't have swung at the 3-1 pitch over his head, he would've been on 1st. Why isn't that brought up?
