Its good to see a couple husky fans showing up in threads . I am looking forward to our trip to Seattle . I'd like to get hooked up with some Husky fans with cooking equipment while there . I'll gladly cook a big pot of jambalaya and/or gumbo while tailgating . Preferrably someone intending to come to Baton Rouge to see their Huskies play so the favor/hospitality can be reciprocated .

I was thinking chicken and sausage gumbo ingredients would be available at local grocery sores .

Go to Pike Place Market and you will get all the fresh seafood you want... There is also a butcher there that has some awesome meats. Great day-before-game experience and grocery shopping...

Finding good Andouille can be daunting.

Bring your own Savoie's. We've got good shrimmp, crabs and ersters here. You'll have to settle for frozen okra unless my plants are producing then.

It's a local chain with a really cool business policy. The burgers are seriously over-rated but better than the national chains. Dick's is no Bud's Broiler.

No. It's a 50's style burger joint. There are about 4 in Seattle and maybe one in Spokane. It's like In-and-Out but with less flare if you can believe it...

the best burger, hands down, in the area is Red Mill. skip Dick's....

Dicks does have real hand-cut fries and decent shakes.

King Crab, yes. But it's usually from Alaska... Fortunately, Seattle is usually the first stop. So it is fresh.

Dungenous crab is local and is completely excellent. You can rent crab pots if you like and catch them in the Sound (and fish for salmon while the pots soak)...

cool, I'll skip Dicks then. Personally Im heading over the pass to Wenatchee before or after the game, I'll grab a Dustys burger there.

Split family here. Half from Louisiana, the other half Washington. I grew up in Wenatchee a Tiger fan and have lived in Louisiana the past 20 years.

When the game gets closer someone needs to sticky a thread on where to eat, go out, etc.
My friend & I will be there.

Dick's schmicks . . . if your drunk after a game or concert, it's great.

Red Mill is the best burger in town, hands down.

I think there are 2 locations -- I have only been to one.

Dravus Avenue exit on 15th Ave W. in Interbay section of town (east of Magnolia)
