Was the kicking game the biggest setback?

The punter had an awful year and let me qualify that by saying his worse punts were at the most inopportune times. When was the last time a field goal kicker missed so many tries?

I guess when your offense can't do sh*t your punting game is pretty damn important.

It used to be a gimmie with our kickers. Now, it is a give them. I sure hope the kickers can improve what they are doing.

Well yes it is. The offense will not move the ball on every drive on every team. It is just not done in football. The kicking game has always played a major role in outcomes of games.

What?! Thanks for explaining football to me. For some reason I thought we went from being one of the more productive offenses in the SEC to one of the worst over a 4 week span. Silly me. Continue.
