Fans deserve plenty of blame for the Lee situation. Booing him his RS freshman is inexcusable, especially when it screws his confidence up. One year with Krags and he improved into one of the most efficient QB's in the SEC. Fans should also be to blame for putting so much pressure on Mett by calling him the Mettsiah and proclaiming him a 1st round pick/heisman winner before ever even starting a game. All the team needs is a solid qb to win another naional championship either this year or in the next few years. Yet sidewalk fans are so obsessed with QB's that they increase their expectations to unnecessary levels.

thanks. someone needs to say this more often.

He looks decent tonight but his receivers are wide open. We never seem to have ours wide open. This is not an SEC defense he is going against. Imagine him with Montgomery, Mingo after his butt

So a qb can't be legit because they don't play in the SEC?

he had 2 passing tds tonight and his receivers dropped a lot of balls.

i would make the argument playing in the sec also has its benefits but then again.. our receivers drop a ton of balls as well.

Teddy is solid.

Im not sure he would beat Mett out for the job.

Louisville's OC is actually creative.

Miles was recruiting mett along with bridgewater. Bridgewater wanted to be the only QB commit and since his friend was going to louisville he decided to go there and we ended up getting mett's commitment.

Yet another psycho complex developing in the rant. Miles should land every good QB recruit in the country, and develop him into an all-american. IN THE SEC. HERP DERP!!!

I think the glaring point is there are a lot of good to great quarterbacks playing college ball and amidst all of this LSU has failed for some reason or other to land a truly competent qb. it was highlighted by the fact that Legaux who isnt great, but i think competent is from New Orleans and we didn't get him. No matter how you slice it Mett is at best average this year. Not having a truly competent qb is the only reason LSU doesnt have a couple of more national titles.
