We are getting no pressure on the QB, and can't seem to cover to save our lives at times.

You cannot expect a DB to cover a receiver, especially the caliber of Floridas, for 5 or 6 seconds. You MUST put on the pressure.

He did and so did Miles. Miles needs to seriously re-consider this co-DC arrangement.

I agree. I think that CO-DC business was Miles first big mistake as head coach here.

I agree...and we should have seen this coming after the Auburn and Miss St. games...because they scored more points against us then they have on anyone else.

"scheme" is the exact reason. Without it you have no intensity. I think RJF should have kept his big mouth shut, but his attitude is what is missing in the Defense or lack thereof!

Another great example of the Peter Principle.
It's time for him to Write a book on defense that wins national championships.
Tepper - Linebackers
Franklin-Spread Offense
Peveto-Defensive Systems that stop the spread offense.

BDP reminded me of an old quote from antiquity:

Hank Stram on the sidelines at Super Bowl IV in New Orleans saying: "Kassulke was running around like it was a chinese fire drill."

We need a DC with the same "attack" or "seek and destroy" mentality of the past.

AMEN !

Here is a simple rule, be it Tebow or ????

*a QB can not throw the ball while on his back
*a QB needs time to throw a deep ball.
*coverage in the secondary + can not last all nite....an average QB will complete passes with time and protection.

.....we must bring PRESSURE

Hopefully the coaching staff will discover we have nothing to lose an and unleash the Beasts we have recruited on defense. We can rip Bama apart if we get aggressive with our defensive schemes. That has been our bread and butter all decade.
