I know for a fact he was a "divisive element" in the locker room his senior year. Oh so so true tiger ugly.

Everyone always forgets Ali lol. Might as well consider Laron as LB the way he helped in run support

Just from recent (last 10 or so years) memory that are better:

Trev Faulk
Bradie James
Perry Riley
Lionel Turner
Kelvin Sheppard
Ali Highsmith was pretty good
Cam Vaughn had a nice career

Very good his soph year at olb under Pelini.

Once mallytoe got hol of eem and moved him to MLB, he went downhill fast. He couldn't take the beating of MLB.

he was the starting MLB for the 07 team. you know, when Pelini was still here.

I think darry is in company with trev and probably from what he did at LSU, ahead of riley and sheppard. There are some great all time lbs. I think he is somewhere in the top 10.

If I had to pick one name it would be Michael Brooks.

he's prob in the top 10 in the 2000's, but not all time.

Trev and Shep each had two 100-tackle seasons. Darry's high was 65 a couple times. stats aren't the end all be all, but still. that's quite a bit more tackles from a mike backer.

Kevin Minter last year was as good a linebacker that i can remember. James, Faulk, Hill, Burkes Michael Brooks was a freak. I can't remember many guys dominating games like Minter did last year.
