Was Billy Farris not recruited by LSU

The starting QB for CSU is form BR. I'm guessing he probably wasn't highly recruited because of RP and JR and MF. Does anyone know anyhting about him?

He went to a JUCO, then a D2, then CSU, I think.

He was from Woodlawn in Baton Rouge. Great athlete, good size, but had off of the field issues. (He went to something like 3 different colleges)

i remember him from high school, seemed like a nice qb, but not setting the world on fire. I'm not sure many schools were looking at him, glad he found a place to land and start.

i believe i saw an article about him recently. if i remember correctly, he was gonna walk on at lsu after he left the juco but csu offered a scholly so he went there

I may be wrong, but I think he had some issues with the po-po here in BR

I went to HighSchool with him at Woodlawn. He was never the best just an overachiever. He has been to 3 colleges and has had some off the field issues. I was surprised to see him on the field last night. He does not have the strongest arm, but has a good feel for the game and makes decent decisions. However, he could never play at LSU, just isn't good enough. Good luck to him

His dad played at Ole Piss so the bigger question is why the Webals did not recruit him
