Ware will show up Richardson.

people talking like ware is some after thought scrub. Ware ability to hit the hole quicker will be more effective in this game. TR will find out that waiting for the hole to open and doing his stutter steps will not work. TR will be held below 100.

Ware is the king of 1 yard runs this season. He's a talented back but you're confused if you think he's on the same level of Richardson.

I'm more worried about Richardson catching those dump off passes

I never said Ware was better. We never really have a problem with big brusing backs against our D. LSU problems over the last few years have been against the speed backs from a spread offense.

I disagree. I think TR gets his. Lacy too. Alabama will attack the heart of our run D. It's our weakness IMO & their biggest strength. Some may allude to the WV game but it was our lack of pressure that allowed them to rack up yards & credit them for good QB execution.
With that said, I think we need to sell out on the big play on D all game long. It will be a big risk and we will give up some yards but we need to go the extra Mile to win this one.

If ware shows up Richardson it will be because the LSU offensive line showed up bamas. Ware is not on richardsons level. At least not yet

I think Ware will play his best game just because of Trent Richardson with the help of our awesome Fullbacks. Our fullback need to hit those linebackers like they have never been hit before. Have the linebackers worrying about the fullbacks first would be great.

I don't think it is up to the running backs... each one can take a hit and keep on truckin; depends on line play. I believe the key to stopping TR is whether or not we can touch him in the backfield. We can minimize him if he does not have time to wait on his blockers.
Another key in the game will be how fast we can get to him when they dump the ball to him. If the nerest defender takes too long, he will juke and at least get past the first guy.
I will take our D unit in this game anytime though... my money is on it.

If both were behind the same OL playing the same D - do you really think that Ware would showcase himself better than TR?
TR is a complete back - speed, power, strength and quickness - what are you seeing more in ware?

Ware is a tough runner but not in Richardson's class just yet. This could be a coming out for Ware on the big stage like Hester versus Florida in 07. Look for RS to get some touches and hurt Bama north south and Ware to get some screens as well. Bet on one of our saftey/backers to spy Richardson since AJ is not a running threat.

The love for Richardson that has evolved in the past week or so is crazy. A week ago everyone on this forum wanted Gary Danielson fired for saying Richarson was in a different class then Ware now everyone wants to line up to openly admit that it's true?
