I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw him playing. He looks locked in and ready to go. Our guys know they’re playing for their life right now.

I heard on Hunt's show earlier that Ward was probable. However, the language around Cook had not changed so I kind of expected him not to play.

Thanks for the update

I rarely claim to have sources, but I've heard from a reliable one who knows somebody VERY CLOSE to the basketball team that Cook is healthy enough to play, but is choosing not to. I'm pretty sure he's already played in too many games to claim a redshirt year, so I have no clue what his agenda is.

And yes, I'm aware Cullotta said something similar, but I trust what I heard from the guy I'm referencing, who isn't Cullotta.

The only inside "scoop" I've gotten before this is that we're playing ODU in football in 2026, so I'm not trying to establish myself as well connected. I'm just passing along what I heard.

Cook has shut it down for season.
My guess is he will enter nba draft and if he wants to use extra year it will be somewhere else.
Bruce Pearl already said he wanted him.

Idk about this. When you go back and watch the court storming vs Kentucky you can see him jogging and kinda limping instead of running like everyone else. That made me realize he was definitely hurt

Heard the exact same info from a reliable person. Not 100% healthy, but enough to play if he chose to.

At this point I’d be a little surprised if we see him the rest of the season.

On a side note, the current crowd of 1,500 people look pumped!

He looks good. Moving side to side on defense and got his 1st 3. If they tighten up thecD and keep shooting like this could get a big lead.

He shouldn’t be allowed on the bench if this is true

The only reason I know that is because I live in Virginia Beach and happen to know a guy in the football administration at ODU.

Like I said, I have hardly any connections, but I work/interact with ODU pretty frequently.

Of course cook is going to pout and not play because he thinks he should shoot 50 times a game so he can try to score 30! If that's the case and he's not going to play anymore, I agree get him off the bench and he thinks he is good enough to get drafted well that's a funny joke,he'll be lucky to even get looked at by any NBA team! But as usual these college players all think there as good as Jordan was, well when he's a greeter at Walmart in a couple years he's going to wish he would have stayed at LSU and worked harder!
