This is where most rational fans are. It's a tough place to be.

Rational fans will accept a poor season with an interim coach in exchange for positive change next season.

Les has regressed the offense so badly that the games are NOT any fun to watch.

Yeah.

I never actually cheer for a loss. I might become indifferent to us losing. I might even think it would be a good thing such as back during Dinardo days.

But when game time hits, can't actually do it during the game

If fans feel like they have to pull for losses because otherwise the administration will keep Miles, then Frick the administration for putting them in that position last year by not firing him.

I just can't do it though. I won't wish for losses.

But short of LSU being in the NC game, I will be livid if he is retained. Even with 10-11 wins.

I think that feeling about CLM and LSU is damn near unanimous.

Not really

First game of the season and we lose a road game by 2 points to a power 5 team...you fire your coach after the first game and that sends the message to other coaches that your administration is reckless. That's my take.

We all want LSU to win every game. A few on here are just ok with mediocrity. They REALLY love Les Miles, and I get it. He's a great guy. The reality is that after what's transpired over a length of some time now has a majority of the fan base worried that this team is allergic to improving offensively. They are worried if we get rid of Miles we will revert back to the 90's LSU football but the last time I checked Les is 3-4 in his last 7 bowl games and we are currently 1-4 in the last 5 regular season games. Some could argue that we are already there.

It's not one game but his recent body of work. Recent being the last 5 years.

Want Miles gone as soon as possible.

Would be fine with Coach O as interim.

Will never root for LSU to lose.

I'm with you. This is actually a big reason why I was in favor of a change at the end of last season. At least the wheels hadn't come completely off, but there is no way I will ever hope for losses or cheer against this team. There is also. I way I will stop watching. I saw every game I could in 99, and that was about as bad as I've ever seen.

They are still my team, even when they lose.

Agreed. I have diamonds in my eyes imagining Herman, Fisher, or...yes even Mullen or Kiffin with this team, but I WANT Les to prove me wrong and win it all and stay on for another 10 years, regardless of my thoughts on what I THINK will happen.

Not really. I want to be 100% wrong and les miles leads LSU to a national championship. Just like we say LSU is bigger than a recruit, LSU is bigger than a coach. Root for the program not the individual.

Rational in no way describes an LSU fan.

Love LSU which is why I want what's best for the program.

Which is a loss tonight.

yeah 3 of the last 4 years of offense have drained the fun for sure. watching inferior teams stay in the game while defenses stack the line an never an audible called for a pass .
