Sounds like Robes should have recruited better.

Also, foster is looking real comfortable at 2nd base now. Im starting to feel comfortable with it.

Played there in high school iirc, plus, the kid is a stud athlete. 2B isn't terribly difficult.

It can be. He made it look tough the first couple weeks. The throws on a ball up the middle, one going towards the line, turning the double play, are all tough parts of the position.

This game went about how I could have hoped. I really didnt feel good about the Cajuns chances before the game so they play well and compete with a really good LSU baseball team, but LSU wins the ballgame. The experience will help a young Cajun team and LSU keeps rolling along. Plus a huge crowd for Pontiff. Literally the only bad thing was the delay.
