I mean our staff quite literally out dueled both Wake and Tenn's staffs.
As someone on twitter put it, LSU essentially beat Wake in a Super while simultaneously beating Tenn as a side quest.

But we didn't baw because LSU's program has plenty of legendary moments like this. WF doesn't. They watched it they never lived it and that's why they're going home. They were not getting the better of this program that has done it many times before. We build legends here. That's why LSU is a Blue Blood in baseball.

Their pitchers did what they were supposed to do our pitchers outside of Skenes overperformed. We would be saying the same thing if LSU got beat by pen arms like Ack, Herring, and Cooper.
