Who are you most interested to see in purple and gold?

Most ranters will probably say Lawrence or Fulton. For me I think Andre Anthony in Aranda's attacking 3-4 defense coming off the edge is a perfect match. He's been flying somewhat under the radar compared to other recruits, but he had a great week of preparation at the UA all-america game. R. Thornton is a close second.

2009 and 2014 were monster classes with headliners like Reuben Randle, Mathieu, Adams, Fournette etc...but IMO this class has the potential to be the best ever. Elite talent and depth at almost every position. 3 of them (D. White, Anderson and Savion) are already looking like SEC ready starters after 3 months on campus. Eric Monroe is an Eric Reid clone. I can't recall a class with more star potential at every single position on defense. I also think Lindsey Scott Jr will eventually be mentioned with Tommy Hodson, Bert Jones, Jamarcus etc...

Glenn Logan and Rashard Lawrence for me. If they come in and have followed Moffits offseason program they will play a lot of football this fall.

I didn't mean to insinuate that Scott is comparable in stature/style to Russel, I just mean in terms of being able to take over and win games. Jamarcus is a top 5-10 all time LSU QB.

Sci Martin. I can see him being a monster as a 3-4 OLB.

Russell had a total of 6,704 yards in his career and that's only one yard behind the second-highest. Led a ton of 4th quarter comeback wins. He is tied in school history for most touchdown passes in a single season. I think Scott will put up those kinds of numbers but looking more like Herb Tyler while doing it

I think Drake Davis is a special special talent. But I dont see him getting a ton of love at LSU for at least a year. Hard to get on the field when we only play 2WRs in 95% of formations

Though Scott says he’s not about the numbers, he sure put up plenty of them. He completed 163 of 255 passes for 3,039 yards and 33 touchdowns with just five interceptions. Scott also ran for 1,963 yards on 228 carries and 28 TDs during the most prolific offensive season ever by a Baton Rouge player. Zachary is the first East Baton Rouge Parish public school to win a state football title since Tara in 1974
.

“Magical … that’s what he was,” Saltaformaggio said. “Lindsey Scott gave Zachary something else a lot of other teams don’t have – a guy who can take over any game and makes plays when it counts.”

quote:

"He was the guy you want to have as the face of your program,” Zachary head coach David Brewerton said. “Lindsey’s a great student in the classroom and on the football field. Everybody sees how hard he works

quote:

"Lindsey’s drive is always to make sure he doesn’t put himself or his team in a bad situation,” Langlois said. “There’s no doubt he put us in the best situations possible. He’s proof that hard work pays off.”

Will make for a great story having been offered only week before NSD

Are you just kidding, or do you really believe this? We play with three WRs about half the time. You're just too busy complaining to notice.

True story lol
For me I'm very excited about those we've seen: Dee Anderson and Savion Smith in particular both looked ready to start now. Still very excited to see Fulton, RL, Monroe, Thornton, Lewis and Pettigrew in particular. Such a loaded class, hard to leave anyone off

Rahssan Thornton gonna frick people up. If Eric Monroe recovers from his surgeries well, I wouldn't be surprised if he get serious playing time.
