but other than that our fans have traveled very well to most away games and bowl games worth a shite.
They've never travelled well to the Capital One Bowl/Citrus Bowl here in Orlando. We get outnumbered by the B1G 10 schools every time.

I'll tell you one thing, only about 20,000 stayed after halftimein 2008 when Troy was hammering LSU and they came back to mount the biggest comeback in LSU history.

But we 20,000 or so screamed so loud it sounded louder than it did when the stadium is close to capacity. I don't know if the sound just bounced off all the empty seats or these "True" fans were with me that night. It was cold and people were bitching, and the team was during horrible.

Funny part about that story is that Jordan Jefferson was inserted to the game and did a QB draw TD from the 1 yd line right before half time to get the crowd back into it. People wanted Jarret Lee out of the game. It's funny looking back in retrospect.

I can think of only one bowl game outside of the state of Louisiana where our fans outnumbered those of the opposing team....2005 Peach Bowl versus Miami.

Let's see...

-- Unique opportunity to literally pick your seat in TS for an SEC game at a very reasonable price. When will that ever happen again?

-- Bonus chance to see potential heisman trophy winner LF.

-- Extra "home" game during what could be one of the best seasons in LSU history. Think back to 2011 and what if there had been a chance to watch that team one extra time in TS - who wouldn't jump all over that in hindsight?

-- Could be last season for the Old Ball Coach. Definitely his last game in TS.

-- Crowd will certainly be much smaller than usual so traffic and parking should be pretty easy.

-- Weather will be great.

Other than having previous plans that can't be broken, why wouldn't every LSU fan be super excited about this opportunity?

I don't understand this butthurt over ticket sales for a game know one knew about till two days ago and didn't know what time it would be played until yesterday. Anything over 50,000 seems like a great response to me.

I bought 50. Hoping to sell 49 over face value to some super fans. My selling point is that it'll help with the flood aftermath in Carolina. Haven't sold one yet.

Out of curiosity, why isn't there an incredibly cheap ticket option? It seems they are really having a hard time selling tickets with a price range of $40 - $75. Wouldn't it be better to pack the place with $15 upper deck tickets and $25-30 lower bowl tickets? Not that these ticket prices aren't affordable, but why not have some really cheap tickets and maybe some of the local North Gate residents can finally afford to bring their kids to the game?

Agreed. It went from tragedy to thriller to comedy in a 30 minute half.

What makes you think price is the reason?
