She isnt deserving. She's a woman. ESPN is trying to branch out to women and get them more involved.

Ah...clearly we should take all your arguments as unbiased now

You see, when you dont take stuff out of context it's alot more reasonable dickhead.

She's a woman. ESPN is trying to branch out to women and get them more involved....

This is part of my quote I was trying to make as the point, but you clearly took the other half and conveniently left the last portion off to fit your agenda. The point was not that she isnt derserving BECAUSE she is a woman, but that she is getting the recognition by ESPN because she is a woman.

Dnm3305 gonna be mad.

Certainly not mad, and good for her for winning. That doesnt mean that it makes our fans any less foolish and that doesnt mean that it's ever ok to not vote for the person that is more deserving, regardless of affiliation. It's a moral thing.

Absolutely no one except you has said this about our fans. You have some sort of personal problem with an ESPN poll that is clearly designed to stimulate web traffic.

Let's see if I have this right. You don't believe a woman who plays a sport you don't watch is deserving of votes so anyone who doesn't share your uninformed opinion is foolish. Got it.

You don't even come close to having some sort of moral higher ground here. In fact, you are the one that looks foolish. It's a childish thing.

Voting for something solely for the sake of affiliation is morally wrong. Much in the same way that nearly all blacks voted for Obama for the sole reason that he is black. Everyone on here voted for her because she went to LSU, not because she is the most deserving. I dont understand how anyone can deny that.

No, you dont fricking have it right. It has nothing to do with whether or not I watched the game or not. It has to do solely with who had the most impactful performance of the week, and she did not. The only reason I brought sex into this at all was to make the point that her being female is the only reason she is actually included in this.

Exactly this. She was included to stimulate the number of hits that poll got, being the only female on it. Mission accomplished. Our fans are foolish for voting for her because she went to LSU and not because she deserved to win, which she clearly didnt.

And . I am a Tiger fan, but this is embarrassing. It reminds me of high school politics where the popular vote wins for the sake of being popular, and not the most qualified. I honestly cannot believe more people wont admit this and are seriously trying to justify this.

Lighten up, Francis. It's an Internet poll.

I'm not sensing the same level of significance in voting for this week's Capital One impact performance poll and voting for the president of the U.S. It just feels different

Capital One makes a donation to the winning school. Couldn't you argue that it's more "moral" to vote for the school with the greatest financial need?

I voted for Bailey because she plays for LSU. I'm not sorry.

And that school is LSU?
