If I'm a local media guy, I'm blasting Finebaum for that idiotic comment. I'm damn sure not using that idiotic comment to make the case they were trying to make.

Some of these comments are just silly. You want all the footage you can get. You can't compare this to 5 or more reporters reporting 5 different things. That been said, it doesnt matter. The media only gets to watch pre-practice. ITS JUST DRILLS.

Well, that's just ignorant. It's hard to quantify exactly, but the reach of the media powers (TP, Advocate, TV, radio) far outweighs what LSU is drawing on social.
Maybe that video gets 5,000-10,000 views on Twitter. An advocate article could get 50,000 page views for a story, along with a high concurrent rate, and that's on the lighter side.

I would rather watch this than what the local and N.O. media put out. They show up with crappy cameras, no skills & and attitudes as if they actually matter.
I work in film & TV. The local station's content quality is routinely embarrassing.
Give me this video all day every day. Bloggers and their cargo shorts can stay home and cry.

You and I may disagree on a lot of things, but this I agree with X1000. White is the guy I'm most excited to see this season. I think he has the makings of one of the best we've ever had at MLB/ILB.
I'm also excited to see what the QB position does under Canada's offense.
