I've also seen where Jimbo denied any knowledge of the incident when asked about it at the post game presser despite clear video of Jimbo Jr. telling him all about it before Jimbo walked in the tunnel. You can see Jimbo Jr. doing a punch motion while explaining to Jimbo what happened followed by Jimbo saying literally "What happened?" as he looked back towards the field in shock.

So Jimbo straight up lied to the media.

It don't matter. That kid was pushing him back because Krags was walking towards the instigator. It's clear as day. And I'm not an Aggie fan and see this.

Kid clearly is the first one to get physical with the push..but he does not stop there, rather than push and retreat with Craig, he pushes then aggressively continues towards krag,..He MIGHT have actually punched krag we don't know yet...there is still a time gap after that last video in the op and the one with battle in it.

The correct response in that situation by the way is to just walk away, not start shoving people

If the correct response is to walk away, what do you call Kragthorpe’s response when he chased Craig down to reignite the altercation?

This whole episode is pure trash and has brought LSU down to the tadpole aggie level.

Ed Orgeron destruction of LSU football is right on track.

A fan shoving a coach is not a normal reaction at all

How so? The video you are watching was slowed down at the part of the shove. In real speed who knows how that felt unless you have a pacemaker. Kragthrope has stated he went to confront Craig to tell him to leave. Now Fisher doesn’t know who he is so he shoved him back and that’s what Faulk sees then the party starts. Fisher obviously didn’t like being challenged and the melee begins.

Put the crack pipe down dude. Only an inbred Aggie would come to those conclusions.

Have to ask yourself....you have a guy trying to De-escalate a situation and all the sudden he reacts violently to something that was said. Wonder what was said to make him react that way.

So shoving him was a typical response

Shoving was a typical response how? Because he is young? Because he is a male? Because some GTFO words by Krag offended him?

Sorry but everyone should keep their hands to themselves.
It's assault whether it be pushing, punching or whatever other actions either side did.

From the video Krag is jawing at Craig, the kid turns around and shoves Krag away. That is a normal response,

It would be normal for Craig to push him away but not Jr. unless Krag was jawing at both. Jimbo Jr. was inserting himself into Craig's fight. I don't care if Jr. was pushing or pulling Craig away. They know each other and are known by aTm.

Krag quote from Guilbeau article

Is there actual video of Kragthorpe making this statement? Or are we just relying on Guilbeaus “quote” as definitive evidence that he used the word “punched” that one time?? I’m not assuming he did or he didn’t use that exact word, but I think it’s reasonable to wonder if Guilbeau perhaps misheard Krag. He could have said “pushed” instead of “punched”— a recording might could clear it up...

I ask this because i also noticed in that same article by Guilbeau, he made this statement, which is not in quotes.

quote:

All Faulk knows is he saw someone punch Kragthorpe in his chest. Then he went after him.

But then he follows that up by “quoting” Faulk in a telephone call

quote:

"It's unfortunate this situation happened," Faulk said Sunday in a phone interview. "It got out of hand. But I was just behaving as my mom and dad raised me. This guy hit Coach Kragthorpe in the chest. I just stepped in. It just happened. "I'd rather talk about the game. It was one of the greatest games I've ever been a part of. To have that many points scored and all the back and forth."

I definitely think a lot of things could be cleared up if we had an actual recording of these conversations to hear... maybe Krag did say “punch,” maybe he didn’t. But based on the other quotes and ‘descriptive word’ choices that Guilbeau used in his article, I’m not willing to just conclusively label Krag a liar.
