Smith was certainly under the ball. However, he called off Smith and made the play, so who cares?

No one called off anyone. Kramer couldn't hear Smith calling it and didn't know he was under it. He made the play he thought he had to.

I'm not buying that Smith ducks out of the way of the ball intentionally. He was called off. That drill is worked on probably daily.

I agree with you, but if you were coaching you would say, great catch! Don't do that again!
Kramer is 0-8 with two K's! Hope, making that play look hard when Smith was under it was worth it! #2 on SCTop10 so I guess Kim Mulkey's son was justified!

For sure I would. Or not say much at all. An out is an out. There are a lot of things you would like to see done better. Also though, Kramer is the vet so you have to trust his judgment.
