Does this mean the announcement is coming soon or just that so many people have bet it so they moved the line? Not for sure how the whole Vegas line thing works.

In theory, Vegas does not "MOVE" the line. The betting public does. If the public bets heavy on one side, Vegas sets the line toward that side to get more people to bet the other side.

I get that. They are trying to even up the bets. How often does the line move? It took them a while to move it after the scandals broke

It appears several places have removed the game. You're more likely to find a line offshore than in Vegas.

Depends on volume usually but when there's a game-changer (i.e. UNC losing half their team) sometimes the lines will freeze until Vegas reevaluates... The LSU UNC line is a little of both.
I expect it to end up around LSU -6.5 before kickoff.

Now while I'm not a big gambler, if it ends up UNC has to bench half their defense, I can see bets being shut down for this game. Either that or Vegas will have to move the betting line a bunch.
