His surname is a typo.

It was originally "Cowterd".

His ego is Sabanesque.

not a troll or anything... I'm legitimately curious. If VI has us at 1, why are we 6 point dogs?

You people...

I can't stand Cowherd, but it's because he plays a character on air, and that annoys the shite out of me.

I'd guess that he might truly believe half of what he says, and the rest is purely for show purposes. Y'all need to stop getting so offended over marketing gimmicks.

It's not a discrepancy, it's an opinion.

So the rich can get richer. Betting the house on LSU and they will win, refs will keep the line as close as possible, because they are the way everyone gets paid. Rigged

To get people to bet on LSU and drive the line down.

I would guess that the line will be about 3.5 by kickoff, unless something drastic happens before then.

Exactly what I told a guy at work today when I told him LSU was a 6.5 pt dog. Dude looked at me like I was tripping, and then I explained to him that once people load up on LSU the line will drop to around 3

If anything the spread will stay or go higher......Bama is a public team and joe blow from Cincinnati will back them, for no other reason other than its Bama.

The only sports radio personality I despise more than Cowherd is Dan Paticick. They can't stand each other and my hope is that each has an eternal case of mild diahrhea to go along with their hoof and mouth disease.

The VegasInsider.com College Football Top 25 is produced by veteran sports betting columnist and handicapper Brian Edwards.

LSU remains in the top spot after pulling away from a solid Western Ky. team to take the cash as a 15.5-point home favorite in a 48-20 win.

Alabama drops one spot to No. 3 after needing a late fourth quarter score to put Tennessee away

Remember, our rankings are based on who would be favored over whom in Omaha (a neutral site) in a game tomorrow

So, Brad Edwards thinks LSU would be favored over Alabama at a neutral site tomorrow, but Danny Sheridan has announced that Alabama has opened as a 6.5 point favorite. Home field usually does not cause a 7-point bump in the line, so is Brad Edwards simply wrong? Or is he saying that HE would favor LSU, not predicting what the books would do?

in the LINK, Vegas Insider explained that his ranking is based on playing on a neutral field (Omaha??)tomorrow, whatever that means.

It would mean that neither team would get the home field bump.

Is he still calling LSU overrated? If so that's hilarious.
