So it has been reported that Valentine got into a fight with Boute yesterday and was disciplined during practice yesterday.

What an unbelievable disappointed he has been since he was allowed back on the team. So much potential so much of a waste of talent. He will be one and done at the end of the year and an end to his saga at LSU.

maybe he was getting whipped by boutte and his pride flared up. may be a good thing.

only thing that's going to get his head right is TV. coaches are doing what they need to do to help - it's his decision.

Players get in fights in practice all the time.

And, they get disciplined for it.

Maybe this is a good thing?

Maybe it is part of him reengaging the way he should?

Why does everything have to be negative?

A lot of overhyped stuff gets said on here. The beauty of a message board I guess

I guess because his entire saga at LSU has been negative.

That's a fight I'd pay to see. That's a lot of weight.

Yep, beating triple teams and impossible to block. I have to agree it is impossible for anyone to block him when he never gets in the game.

The guy stopped going to class & failed multiple drug tests the first time around. I don't know what they expected bringing him back

The sad thing is he was giving playing time without earning it and that was on Miles at the beginning of the year.

I still hope he plays. I didn't see the fight but it sounded like he really showed his arse. Not necessarily by fighting, which could have ultimately been viewed as a positive, but by not letting it go and moving on when he should have. Whatever, I still want to see him on the field.

I just assumed that the "he didn't practice good enough" was code for missing a class or smoking weed. How is it possible that he is not laser focused given what he had to do to get back in the program? He had to keep his head down for roughly 6 mos. and the payoff was becoming a millionaire.

Lol players fight all the time at practice especially during a week in which there is a little extra intensity due to the upcoming opponent.

I still believe Miles let him back because he thought it would improve his chances of winning and no one else wanted him back.
