The kid had every reason to be up set. She is a 75% free throw shooter and air balled two free throws to keep her team in the game and possibly win it.

I would not be crying in a game where the refs carried my team to the final seconds. I would instead be angry that the refs did not do more to get my team the win.

Adam Morrison did the same thing when Gonzaga lost to UCLA the same year LSU made it to the Final Four. Gonzaga still had a chance to win too.

You must have never been passionate enough about sports. You give your life to something and you know it’s over. I cried like a baby my senior year in HS when we lost semis at State. I knew my ride was over.
