I’m not sure State would get out that regional. Jacksonville St has beaten Auburn and Georgia this season.

State is so due to knock us off but I said the same thing last time we played them in the supers and we rolled. I do think y’all are sleeping on UGA though. They’re the only team to take a series from Vandy

UGA has great pitching, but they don’t hit like State does. That’s why I’d prefer UGA.

That's great news. Now LSU has to find a way to win its regional. The Tigers are hardly any great shakes, but Miss St is about as weak a #3 national seed as I've ever seen.

Exactly why id prefer georgia, that and the revenge angle. Teams that mash are our bigger weakness. We may be able to squeak out a 3-2 game against georgia

He left a pitcher in to give up the lead and then load the bases, including hitting a batter. The players were laughing in the dugout during that telling me he told them "Boys, have fun but it won't be a bad thing if we go home today to get ready for our regional."

Agreed. Ethan Small pretty much shut down the team that nearly run ruled LSU yesterday. That's a good way of going down one game to none to start.
I don't get the appeal of traveling to Starkville and their 15,000 fans for the Supers.
