Upcoming TV Schedule (Auburn - 6:00 ESPN/ Towson TBA on 9/17)

Auburn is set for 6:00 on ESPN
With regards to Towson, there has been speculation about PPV, etc. The Idaho game is on Tigervision, so that is LSU's one PPV game for the year. As a result, it actually looks Towson will be picked up for cable television since there are only 6 SEC games that day and the SEC has to fulfill its tv contracts, regardless of the quality of the game. FSN or ESPNU are the most likely. However, it could land on CSS (Comcast Sports South), which also gets a limited number of SEC games.

I would not be surprised at all if the Towson game is an 11:00 Kickoff on ESPNU

LSU cannot "put its foot down" about television times. The SEC negotiates the TV contracts, and LSU is bound by them. While we all prefer night games, and they are a great part of our tradition, we are not contractually entitled to any of them--even against creampuffs. We are actually really lucky this year with the number of home night games we are likely to get.

Is there any particular reason why there is an Alabama v. Fla. Atlantic game on a Friday at 3:00 p.m CDT?
